Single-Page WordPress Website Design
Need a professional website for your small business, service or trade without the cost or complexity of a larger multi-page site?
Our single-page WordPress website package gives your business a polished, credible online presence, with all your essential information arranged on one clear and easy-to-navigate scrolling page.
It is ideal for tradies, consultants, sole traders, startups and local service businesses that need customers to quickly understand what they offer and how to get in touch.
What is a single-page website?
A single-page website is not just one screen. It is a complete scrolling website divided into clear sections, which may include:
- An introduction to your business
- Your services
- Reasons to choose you
- Photographs or examples of your work
- Testimonials
- Service areas
- Contact details
- Social media links
- An enquiry form
We organise your information into a logical structure so visitors can easily learn about your business and take the next step.
What’s included
Custom website design and development
Your website will be professionally designed to suit your business, branding and target customers.
Although we begin with a professionally developed premium WordPress theme, this does not mean we simply paste your text into a ready-made template. We customise the page structure, layout, fonts, colours, imagery, spacing, content hierarchy and styling to create a website that fits your business and presents your information clearly.
Mobile-responsive design
Your website will be designed to work across desktop computers, tablets and mobile phones.
WordPress content management system
Your website will be built in WordPress, providing a flexible content management system that can be updated and expanded as your business grows.
You will receive WordPress administrator access after handover.
Premium WordPress theme
The client is required to purchase an approved premium WordPress theme separately.
We use reputable premium themes because they are generally better maintained, regularly updated and designed to work with current versions of WordPress. This provides a stronger foundation for website security, performance, mobile responsiveness and future updates than relying on an unsupported or poorly maintained free theme.
We will recommend a suitable theme and provide instructions for purchasing it in your own name. The theme licence remains attached to your website and can continue to receive updates from its developer.
The premium theme provides the technical foundation. Your completed website is still professionally customised and developed for your business rather than being left as a generic theme demonstration.
Content entry
You provide the final written content, business details and any photographs you would like included. We will enter, format and arrange the supplied content throughout the website.
Copywriting is not included, but we can write or refine your website copy for an additional fee.
Basic SEO setup
We will complete the website’s basic on-page SEO setup, including:
- Page title and meta description
- Clear heading structure
- Search-friendly page organisation
- Image optimisation and alt text where appropriate
- Basic website visibility settings
This gives your website a sound SEO foundation but does not include ongoing SEO services or guaranteed Google rankings.
Contact form
A customer enquiry form will be added to the website, including a basic spam-protection widget.
Social media integration
We will link the website to your relevant business social media profiles.
Images
You may provide your own photographs, or we can source suitable royalty-free stock images where appropriate.
Premium paid stock images, professional photography and extensive image editing are not included unless separately quoted.
Domain connection and SSL setup
We will connect the completed website to your domain and assist with the SSL security certificate provided through your hosting account.
Domain registration, website hosting and business email are purchased separately by the client. We provide recommendations and generally ask clients to purchase their domain, hosting and email through one suitable provider. Keeping these services together usually makes the initial setup and future management much smoother.
Revisions
Reasonable design and layout revisions are included as needed throughout the agreed website-development process.
Revisions apply to the original project scope. Additional sections, substantial changes in direction, replacement content supplied late in the project or new functionality may require a separate quote.
Handover, training and support
Once the website is approved, you will receive:
- WordPress administrator access
- Website handover
- Training or guidance on completing basic website updates
- Post-launch support
The included support covers questions, troubleshooting and minor adjustments relating to the completed website. Ongoing maintenance, future content changes and new functionality can be quoted separately.
What you need to provide
To keep the project moving, you will need to provide:
- Final written website content
- Business contact details
- Service information
- Social media links
- Logo and branding files
- Any photographs you would like included
- Testimonials or reviews
- Required privacy, legal or policy wording
You are responsible for ensuring that supplied information is accurate and that you have permission to use any text, photographs, reviews or other materials provided.
Hosting, domain, email and theme costs
The following are purchased separately by the client and are not included in the website package price:
- Domain registration
- Website hosting
- Business email hosting
- The approved premium WordPress theme
We will recommend suitable providers and guide you through the purchasing process. These services and licences remain in your name and are paid directly by you.
Plugins and licences
Standard free plugins required to deliver the agreed website are included in the setup.
Any optional premium plugin, specialist functionality or ongoing third-party subscription will be discussed with you before purchase. Where an additional paid licence is required, it will be purchased by the client unless specifically included in a separate written quote.
Legal and policy content
Any required privacy policy, terms and conditions, disclaimer or other legal wording must be supplied by the client.
We can add supplied policy content to the website where practical. Professionally drafted legal content or separate policy pages may require an additional quote.
Additional features
The following are not included unless separately quoted:
- Google Maps integration
- Ecommerce or online payments
- Booking systems
- Blogs
- Member areas
- Additional webpages
- Advanced forms
- Custom functionality
- Professional photography
- Website copywriting
- Ongoing website maintenance
- Ongoing SEO services
