Custom WordPress Website Design for Small Businesses
Build a professional online presence with a custom WordPress website designed around your business, audience and goals.
At The Little Logo Lab, we create polished, easy-to-navigate websites that help visitors understand what you offer, trust your business and take the next step. We consider both the visible design and the behind-the-scenes structure, including mobile responsiveness, navigation, enquiry pathways, content hierarchy and basic SEO.
This package is ideal for small businesses, tradies, consultants and service providers that need a professional multi-page website without ecommerce functionality.
What’s included
Custom website design and development
Your website will be professionally designed to suit your business, branding and target customers.
Although we begin with an approved premium WordPress theme, we do not simply paste your content into a ready-made template. We customise the layouts, page structure, fonts, colours, imagery, spacing, navigation and content hierarchy to create a website that feels specific to your business.
Up to five website pages
Your package includes up to five professionally designed pages, generally structured as:
- Home
- About
- Services or Products
- Contact with an enquiry or quote form
- Optional Gallery, Portfolio or other suitable information page
The exact page structure will be planned around your business. This package does not include ecommerce or online product purchasing.
Mobile-responsive design
Your website will be designed to work across desktop computers, tablets and mobile phones.
We carefully review the page layouts, navigation, text, images, buttons and forms across different screen sizes so visitors can use the website easily on their preferred device.
WordPress content management system
Your website will be built in WordPress, providing a flexible content management system that can be updated and expanded as your business grows.
You will receive WordPress administrator access after the website handover.
Premium WordPress theme
The client is required to purchase an approved premium WordPress theme separately.
We use reputable premium themes because they are generally well maintained, regularly updated and designed to remain compatible with current WordPress requirements. This provides a stronger foundation for website security, performance, mobile responsiveness and future updates than relying on an unsupported or poorly maintained free theme.
We will recommend a suitable theme and guide you through purchasing it in your own name. The theme provides the technical foundation, while we professionally customise the website’s design, structure and content for your business.
Content entry and page organisation
You provide the final written content, business details and any photographs you would like included.
We will:
- Enter and format your supplied content
- Organise it into a clear page structure
- Create an easy-to-follow content hierarchy
- Add appropriate headings, buttons and enquiry pathways
- Present your services or products clearly
- Ensure the information is consistent across the website
Copywriting is not included, but we can write, edit or refine your website copy for an additional fee.
Images
You may supply your own business photographs, or we can help source suitable royalty-free stock images where appropriate.
Any paid premium stock images must be approved and purchased separately by the client. Professional photography and extensive image editing are not included unless separately quoted.
Basic SEO setup
We complete the website’s basic on-page SEO setup across the included pages.
This may include:
- SEO page titles and meta descriptions
- Clear H1, H2 and H3 heading structure
- Search-friendly page organisation
- Descriptive image alt text where appropriate
- Image optimisation
- Internal links between relevant pages
- Basic website visibility and indexing settings
This gives your website a sound SEO foundation but does not include ongoing SEO services, backlink building, regular content creation or guaranteed Google rankings.
Contact or quote form
Your Contact page will include an enquiry or quote form suited to the information your business needs to collect.
Basic spam protection will also be added to help reduce automated form submissions.
Social media integration
Your relevant business social media profiles will be linked from the website, helping customers move easily between your website and social channels.
Domain connection and SSL setup
We will connect the completed website to your domain and assist with setting up the SSL security certificate provided through your hosting account.
Domain registration, website hosting and business email are purchased separately by the client.
We will provide recommendations and generally ask clients to purchase their domain, hosting and email through one suitable provider. Keeping these services together usually makes the initial setup and future management much smoother.
Revisions
Reasonable design and layout revisions are included as needed during the agreed website development process.
Revisions apply to the original project scope. Additional pages, significant changes in direction, replacement content supplied late in the project or new functionality may require a separate quote.
Website handover and guidance
Once the website is approved, you will receive:
- WordPress administrator access
- A basic website handover
- Simple guidance provided by video, PDF or live demonstration
- Help understanding how to complete basic content updates
- 10 days of post-launch support
Post-launch support covers questions, troubleshooting and minor adjustments relating to the completed website. Future content changes, ongoing maintenance and new functionality can be quoted separately.
What you need to provide
To keep the project moving, you will need to provide:
- Final written website content
- Business and contact details
- Information about your services or products
- Social media links
- Logo and branding files
- Photographs you would like included

- Any required legal or policy wording
You are responsible for ensuring that supplied information is accurate and that you have permission to use any text, photographs, reviews or other materials provided.
